This year, the Australasian Language Technology Association Workshop (ALTA) will be held at RMIT, Melbourne from Wednesday 26th November to Friday 28th November. This event will be the twelfth annual installment of the ALTA Workshop in its most-recent incarnation, and the continuation of an annual workshop series that has existed under various guises since the early 90s.

ALTA 2014 will be held in conjuction with the 19th Australasian Document Computing Symposium 2014 (ADCS 2014).

There will be a shared task again this year. Please visit the ALTA 2014 Shared Task page for more details. IBM Research kindly made it possible to increase the prize to $500. The prize will be awarded to the best student team.
